Le Cotage Conversion- Tiny LIttle Baby Steps

Now that we're living in the house and there's no pressure to finish.

anything.
at.
all.

(Actually, it's a double-edged sword. My hubby is SOOOO busy at work, which is a fantastic blessing, he's just spread too thin.)

I was waiting to update you on the house until I could photograph FINISHED rooms. You know, like how it looks in my head. Probably never going to happen. So, I'll just share the tiny little steps that DO get taken towards the finish line.

Cuz I know you guys are lost without my updates. You feel left out. I know. I get that a lot.
I am loving my open shelving. It needs styling, but I still love it.

Yes, we drink from mason jars. They're very strong. In the fall they become food storage for salsa and jam and whatnots. Then, over the months they become drinking glasses again.
This is my newest addition. I have been waiting FOREVER to take a trip to IKEA. Now I have my magnetic knife strip which makes me feel so... I don't know. Like people in the catalogs, I guess.

You're wondering why is that huge wire sticking out of the wall above the stove. No, you're not! Cuz you're SMART. You know that some day... some future day... there will be a hood vent there.

How in the world I got my cabinet maker to make these pantries for me, I've no idea! They're packed full of stuff. Not just the stuff that belongs there but also stuff that would go in the Hoosier cabinet if it existed.

So much to do. So little time.
