Le Cotage Conversion- Laying the Groundwork

We took a break from working on the house for a little while, but now we are pecking away and the rest of the interior things that need to be finished; painting, putting up trim, cabinets, shelving, etc.

Just yesterday we were blessed with beautiful weather, and Jake had some gravel and top soil delivered. The children having been picking rock all week. Rylee said, "Why are we doing this? More rocks are going to surface next year!" She is right, but we still want a nice lawn so we will work!

We took out the sod in front of the sidewalk. Yay! Less grass to take care of!

I am just so happy about this! I very much want our yard to look nice. We are trying to decide where to put raspberries and a garden.

Today, it is SNOWING!
