The four amigos.
Me and elder trejo on our way out to rebuild a deck for a less active member. :)

The old crew.
Princess Yaelyn.
Superheroes.
From an isle in the Pacific to the United Kingdom and all the places in between,my journey has included windy deserts, windy beaches, large cities, and tiny towns. It's no wonder that I've grown to love new places and new experiences. Always the new guy, never the expert, but finally becoming comfortable with being different; as odd as a seagull in the mountains,I share perspectives that could only be gained in my own Nikes.

Vernal Has Been Added
It has been a long time since the hubby and I have taken a trip away... alone... well, with each other... you know what I mean!
We decided to use our weekly temple attendance as a mini getaway vacation. We had been eying the Vernal, Utah temple for many months. It was dedicated as a tabernacle in 1907 and then converted into a temple in 1997. It is such a neat building. There is a winding staircase and beautiful stained glass. Totally worth the long drive. The whole trip was wonderful. We ate delicious, fresh Chinese food. We watched 100 Foot Journey, which I totally loved. And we just enjoyed each others company.

Publication #2
My daughter, Shanelle, as soon as she could write words on paper was always shelling out unique stories. Then, she took classes in college and really developed her own style of fiction and creative writing. That is most definitely a talent you either have or don't have.
Her first publication was a short story which was accepted by the Origami Journal. She wrote it for a college class. A class in which I actually sat in one time. Pretty weird experience. I felt like some weird growth on a person's skin that no one wants to talk about but everyone wonders about. ---Hi. This is my mom and she's just... going to... be here... for the moment---
Anyway, here is Shanelle's recent trophy accomplishment as a writer.
